Do you provide free consultations or estimates?

Yes! We offer free in-home or on-site consultations, along with samples to help you make the right choice. You’ll also receive a detailed estimate so you can plan your project with confidence.

Our team will guide you based on your space, lifestyle, budget, and design preferences. We also provide samples so you can see how each option looks in your space.

We recommend clearing small furniture, personal belongings, and breakable items from the area. Our team can assist with moving larger pieces if needed. It’s also helpful to make arrangements for pets and limit foot traffic during the installation process.

Floor-fitting costs vary depending on the type of flooring you choose, the size of the area, and any complexities such as the condition of the subfloor.

To ensure we can meet the needs of every project, our quotations include a clear breakdown of materials, labour and any additional service costs, so you can easily understand the pricing for your specific job. And if the initial option isn’t within your budget, we can suggest more affordable alternatives that still achieve the look and finish you want.

In most cases, skirting boards do not have to be removed to lay new flooring.

Our professional installers can fit flooring neatly up to the existing skirting boards and finish the edges with trims or beading for a clean look. However, there are situations where removing skirting boards may be recommended:

  • For the best, seamless finish – Removing and refitting (or replacing) skirting boards hides expansion gaps completely.
  • If skirting boards are damaged or outdated – It can be a good opportunity to upgrade them.
  • When floor height changes significantly – New flooring may sit higher than the old floor, requiring adjustment.

Many homeowners choose not to remove skirting boards to save time and cost, and the final result can still look very tidy when done properly.

If you’re unsure, we can advise on the best option based on your flooring type and room layout.
